This pic is not the greatest quality since it was on my iPhone, but, here we are in front of the Beverly Hills sign.  Apparently, everyone in California has a selfie stick!!!
Macaroons at the Farmer's Market :-)
The famous boardwalk at Venice Beach.  It was such a beautiful day!

We had so many amazing meals!  This was at Hugo's on Sunset Blvd.  Some of my other favorite restaurants were: Gracias Madres, Urth Cafe, and Father's Office.
No trip to L.A. is complete without a stop at In-N-Out!

Hello, friends!  I hope you are having a wonderful week!  I just got back from the most amazing trip to L.A.  I went to visit my cousin, Leanne, for a week and we had the best time.  I could totally live in L.A.!  :-)  Leanne lives one block off Melrose and within walking distance of so many cool places.  You could even see the Hollywood Hills from her street.  We hit the ground running as soon as I touched down in L.A. and went nonstop until my flight home.  We did some tourist-y things the first day, including going to the TCL Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Walk of Fame and a TMZ Tour around L.A.

Then, we went shopping on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills (mostly window shopping, haha).  I loved Beverly Hills!!  There are so many cute cafes and shops.  I had a blast walking around looking at everything.  We also spent a day at Venice Beach, which was so nice!  You have both the beach and the mountains right there in front of you.  It was literally the best of both worlds.

The cherry on top was driving down Melrose Avenue and Sunset Boulevard at night and playing Fergie's "L.A. Love" on repeat.  I miss L.A. so much!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!  Have y'all ever visited L.A. and/or been to any of these places??

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  The sun finally came out in Nashville and the weather has been so nice lately!

This blouse has to be one of my favorite pieces that has been in my closet for some time now.  I stumbled upon it when I was organizing my closet over the weekend and felt like I hit the jackpot! (haha)  I love blush pink and black together.  It's sophisticated, but very feminine.

I am on the Pedestrian Bridge for these photos.  It is one of my favorite places in Nashville because you have so many amazing views of the city.  You will see the "Batman Building" and LP Field in several pics.  We spend a lot of time at LP Field watching the Titans!

I leave for L.A. tomorrow morning and come back late Sunday night!  I hope your Monday is amazing!

SUIT: J. Crew (last season) (Similar here and here)  //   SHIRT: Banana Republic  //  NECKLACE: Ann Taylor    BRACELETS: Mindy Mae's Market, J. Crew  // BAG: Michael Kors  //  SHOES: Ivanka Trump

Happy Friday!!  T.G.I.F.!

With the 'arctic blast' in full effect and temps in the low teens in Nashville, I have been wearing lots of tweed here lately.  This J. Crew number has to be one of my favorite tweed suits to date.  I love the feminine detailing, yet it is still conservative enough to wear to work.  Not to mention, it keeps me warm in this less than ideal weather.  I don't know how much more of this freezing cold I can handle!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  How are y'all staying warm this weekend??

I hope your 2015 is off to a fabulous start!!

When I first saw this (now sold-out) Ann Taylor windowpane blouse, I fell in love.  I knew it would look amazing with my red Ann Taylor pencil skirt and lots of gold accessories.  I especially love this combo around the holidays, but I find myself pairing this blouse with skirts and pants in a variety of colors as well, year-round.  Windowpane is essentially a more sophisticated take on plaid, which I love, since I rarely wear plaid (shirts) to work.  Oh, and it also transitions nicely from office to out.  Just throw on a leather jacket and a chunky statement necklace and you are all set!

Thanks so much for stopping by and all the blog and Instagram love the past couple of months.  I am still a "newbie" in the blogosphere, but am having a blast thus far and have met some amazing folks.  :-)  Don't forget to follow Lawyer Lookbook on Instagram and bloglovin'.

P.S.  I will be in L.A. later this month for the first time.  So excited!! Any recommendations for restaurants/things to do??
