Ormond-By-The-Sea, Ormond Beach, Florida.
The Van Lee, our "home away from home". We stayed in the penthouse on the top left and had incredible views!
It's always 5 o'clock in Ormond Beach! (Adorable monkey drink holder from Riptides Raw Bar).
I think I found mine and Bruiser's next house!! :-) I loved walking past this pink dream house each morning on the beach!
I loved the crab cakes at High Tides Snack Jack in Flagler Beach!
On the pier in Flagler Beach.
It was so good to see my little Bruiser baby when I came home... I hated to leave him after only having him for a month. I was relieved that he did not trash my garage and back yard too much- he gets into (and chews) everything! He is a handful... Haha!
Happy Friday, Dear Friends!
I just returned from a much-needed, amazing va-cay to Ormond Beach, Florida with my family. Ormond Beach, or as the locals call it, "Ormond-By-The-Sea" is a very beautiful and private beach located about fifteen minutes away from Daytona Beach. I highly recommend going if you want a peaceful place to unwind and unplug!
We mostly lounged on the beach and ate seafood, then lounged and ate some more. We ate at some fabulous local restaurants. Some of my favorites include: High Tides Snack Jacks (pictured above), Riptides Raw Bar, and my absolute favorite, Hull's Seafood Restaurant and Market. Hull's is located more inland and looks like a total hole-in-the-wall from the outside (meaning: jackpot!!), but oh my stars, they have amazing seafood!!! The crab cakes are out of this world!
I hope you get to go somewhere (or do something) relaxing this summer! Has anyone ever visited Ormond, Daytona or Flager? If so, do you have any recommendations for places to go or things to do??
