Brusier (my little rescue boy) and I at Fido.
Located in Hillsboro Village near Vanderbilt, this locally-owned coffee shop is one of my favorite cafes to relax and recharge. Not only is it animal-friendly on the patio area outside, it is a great place for people watching around all the nearby shops. I love sipping my coffee, then perusing the local shops down the street.
Two words: The Cuban (iced or hot). Crema grows in popularity by the day, and I totally understand why. Not only does Crema make amazing coffee and pastries, but the patio is such a cool place to sip on coffee and stare at the beautiful views of the Nashville skyline while recharging. I also love visiting the Crema inside of Pinewood Social for morning coffee and to get some work done away from the office in the very creative work spaces.
3. Frothy Monkey
One of the first businesses located on Nashville's highly sought after 12 South, Frothy Monkey is such a cozy and creative coffeehouse to relax and be inspired by all the creatives that pass through. Frothy Monkey takes pride in using only local ingredients and supporting all things local. I have loved every drink I have ordered, but I especially love the Rosemary Honey Latte.
4. Barista Parlor
Housed in an old garage with industrial decor, Barista Parlor is such a hip and trendy place to hang out and sip on one of the best lattes you will ever have. The interior is a large open space with long wooden communal tables where you can sit with a large group, or work for hours on end. The coffee here is a tad pricey, but the overall experience makes it worth the occasional splurge!
5. Steadfast Love
Hidden away from the downtown hustle and bustle, Steadfast Love is one of Nashville's best-kept secret coffee houses. The interior is very modern and makes for a great place to set up shop and work for hours on end. So far, my favorite drink is the Iced Butterscotch Latte.
6. The Well
This nonprofit, charitable coffeehouse was founded on the principle of helping others in need, both locally and abroad. The Well is such a laid-back, homey venue to catch up with old friends, and it feels great to know that you give back to those in need each time you make a purchase.
If you are ever in Nashville, I hope you get a chance to stop by and enjoy some of these amazing coffeehouses! If you live in (or have recently visited) Nashville and I left a must-try coffee spot off, let me know in the comments below! I love trying new places!
