What a week... Our beloved family Yorkie unexpectedly crossed over the Rainbow Bridge sometime Tuesday night, and we are all absolutely heartbroken. Losing a pet is one of the worst feelings imaginable, especially when you have zero warning signs. He is/was such a huge part of our family, and I can't imagine the last 13 years without him. We already miss him so much!
Part of being a lawyer means going to quite a few Continuing Legal Education ("CLE") classes each year to fulfill the required number of credit hours to keep your law license active. Some CLEs are short, but sometimes they can
drag on for last 8 hours, which begs the question, what exactly does one wear to a CLE? This can be very tricky, especially if you are new to the practice and have never been to one. I had no idea what to wear to the first few I attended. There is no rule per se, but dress is usually dictated by the time of day and the type of CLE you attend. If it is a lunch seminar or directly after work, most people will just go in their normal work clothes. On the flip side, everyone is much more laid back for the 8-hour seminars and typically very casual. When I have to attend a CLE that lasts all day, I want to look polished, but be comfortable. I love pairing dark denim skinny jeans with a classic crisp white button-down and throwing on a fun necklace, like my Courtney Bib. Just don't forget the coffee- I always bring my favorite Kate Spade tumbler to get me through!
Chipper (in the blue) and Baby. We miss him so much and Baby is so lost without her sidekick.
Back in our younger days. See you again someday, sweet angel!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
