Happy Friday! I am so excited to share a few photos from The Blog Societies Conference in Charleston for today's post.
Vera Bradley Welcome Party
Vera Bradley hosted a fabulous welcome party in the Belmond to kick off the three-day conference in Charleston. Bloggers and brand representatives came together and enjoyed light bites, bubbly and great conversation. This was one of my favorite events. It was so nice to finally meet blogger friends I had been following on Instagram over the last year. Everyone was so nice!
Day two of the conference began at the Riviera with four amazing speakers. Lindsey Humes from White Oak Creative spoke about how to audit your brand. Next, Amy Flurry, author of Recipe for Press spoke about pitching to brands. Then, Sarah from rewardStyle spoke about liketoknow.it and how to win at Instagram. Finally, Victoria from In Style Collective spoke on how to find your voice.
Here we are leaving the Riviera on the way to the Belmond for a quick lunch inside the Belmond before our afternoon festivities.
Networking SuiteAfter lunch, we had a networking event and had the opportunity to mix and mingle with about 20 different brands including Kendra Scott, Cosmedix, Wayfair, It Cosmetics, and Moon & Lola, to name a few.
Moon & Lola had an amazing charm bar and we had the option of creating a charm bracelet or necklace. I made a charm bracelet with my initials and threw some big pearls and rhinestones on it to make it more "me". It is so cute! We also went to the Moon & Lola store on King Street and I found the prettiest gold tassel necklace. If you ever go to Charleston, be sure to check out their store- it is so cute!!
The conference was held at the Belmond in the downtown Charleston hotel district. There are so many cute shops and restaurants inside the Belmond and everything is top-notch. I absolutely love this staircase and chandelier.
Breakfast with Kendra Scott
Off to breakfast with Kendra Scott! We enjoyed a nice spread in the Palmetto Cafe before attending a morning packed with blogger workshops. I attended one on photography, liketoknow.it and a Founders Workshop hosted by The Blog Societies founders, Jessica and Cathy. I loved the workshops and learned a lot. I wish we could have gone to all of them! In addition to those workshops, there was one on accounting, SEO and rewardStyle.
Cosmedix hosted our final blogger luncheon and talked all things skin care, and brought some of their newest skin care products for us to preview. The anti-aging cream works like a charm!
