When it comes to planning and scheduling, I am totally old-fashioned.  I love a good planner to keep my life organized.  As an attorney, court clerk, style blogger, non-profit board member, Junior Leaguer, and someone who is very active in my community, I depend on my signature Erin Condren LifePlanner™ to keep my hectic life in order.  I have been a major Erin Condren fan girl for years.  I love how fun and colorful her planners are, and how I can color-coordinate my schedule based on the particular event or activity that comes my way.

I was recently invited to attend a Happy Hour with Erin Condren at Adele's in Nashville with some other local Nashville bloggers and influencers.  Erin Condren herself even made an appearance.  She is so nice in person, and I loved chatting with Erin and her team about her new collection.  In addition to her signature LifePlanner™ and customizable notebooks, Erin Condren has some adorable products for the home, such as pillows, glasses, and acrylic trays.  They would definitely make cute housewarming or "just because" gifts, and all products can be personalized with your name, initials or monogram to make it more personal, with no added cost.

The Erin Condren team gifted me the pretty floral blossom LifePlanner™, my favorite pattern.  As a true Southerner, I love myself a good monogram.  So, naturally, I opted to make mine personal and have my initials monogrammed on the cover.  I am so excited to fill up my new planner, and not just schedule each day, but to celebrate each day in style!

Join the party!  Erin Condren is offering Lawyer Lookbook readers 15% off with code GETSOCIAL15 (code expires 7/31/17 and cannot be used with any other offers).

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thanks to Erin Condren for sponsoring today's post.  Product and compensation were received.  All opinions are 100% my own.

March Reading

The School of Greatness, Lewis Howes

In The School of Greatness, Lewis Howes shares golden nuggets of advice from interviewing some of "the greats" on his podcast throughout the years, including Olympic gold-medal athletes, world-renowned speakers (such as Tony Robbins), and other well-known personalities and entrepreneurs.   This book is a framework for personal development and will give you the insight to reach your full potential.  This book would make an excellent graduation gift!

Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook, Gary Vaynerchuk

2. Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook, Gary Vaynerchuk
I am a big fan of Gary Vee, and listen to his podcast "The GaryVee Audio Experience" regularly.  Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook is a culmination of some of his best podcast episodes to date, along with some of his other books.  In this book, Vaynerchuk shares advice on how to connect with your audience and "beat the competition" by jabbing, a/k/a patiently building relationships and engaging with your audience, and throwing right hooks to seal the deal.  I recommend this book for bloggers or anyone that works in marketing.

Daring Greatly, Brene Brown

3. Daring Greatly, Dr. Brene Brown
This book was inspired by one of my favorite quotes- "The Man in the Arena."  I first became a fan of Dr. Brown after hearing her Ted Talk on vulnerability (if you haven't seen it, go watch it now: here).  I'll be honest, while I did like this book, it was not quite what I thought it would be.  The first chapter was great, but I had a hard time focusing after that.  The book was full of case studies (so it would be an excellent read if you work in psychology or social work, etc.).

Each month, I share what books I read the previous month to give you some reading inspiration.  March was very busy for me, so I did not get to read as many books as I would have liked.  I did manage to get three books in, though.  Enjoy!

Also, in case you missed it, here are the books I read in January and the books I read in February.

What are you reading??  Thanks so much for stopping by!

With Easter right around the corner, I wanted to give you a little Easter outfit inspiration.  I love anything lace or pale pink, and this dress looks gorgeous on.  I see why it is so popular among fashion bloggers!  Also, these nude studded heels are an amazing dupe for the designer version (they are less than $70!).

I hope your April is off to a wonderful start!  For today's post, I am wearing one of my classic colorful wool pencil skirts with a bright pink sweater to slowly transition into warmer weather.  Depending on how traditional/conservative your office is, you could also throw on a statement necklace and leopard accents for a little extra pizzaz, because we all know that professional women of  all ages can be both successful and stylish!
