2017 Career Accomplishments

Voted "Favorite Elected Official" in The Daily News Journal Ruthies Awards
I was so incredibly honored and humbled to have been voted "Favorite Elected Official" in The Daily News Journal's Ruthies Awards.  This was such an amazing honor and completely unexpected!

Keynote Speaker at The Blog Societies national conference in Chicago
I was invited to speak at The Blog Societies' national conference in Chicago about Contract Law and the Federal Trade Commission: Rules and Regulations, Disclosures and Trends.  It was a huge honor!  The audience was awesome.  They were very engaged and had some excellent questions.  I spoke a little over an hour.  I had an absolute blast and met so many wonderful people!

Graduate of Leadership Rutherford
Here I am with one of my favorite "Boss ladies".
Here I am with Miss Lushy of the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol Unit.  I make friends with animals just about everywhere I go- forever an extreme animal lover! <3
First time riding in a Black Hawk Chopper helicopter!

Feature in VIP Magazine
It was an honor to be asked to be in VIP Magazine's Football and Fashion September issue.  They picked around 10 community leaders/"movers and shakers" to be a part of this shoot.  We collaborated with local boutiques to feature their clothing.  We had two features.  I had a blast!

Successful Law Office CASA Christmas Fundraiser
Our law office has had a Christmas open house and fundraiser for Court Appointed Special Advocates ("CASA") for nine years.  We have raised thousands of dollars and collected tons and tons of toys throughout the years.  This year alone, we raised $11,000, plus lots of toys!!

Riding in the Smyrna Christmas Parade as Town Court Clerk
Here I am with one of my favorite police lieutenants.  It was such an honor be escorted by him in the Christmas parade.  So thankful for our law enforcement, military and their families for keeping us safe!!
Ended the year celebrating with some of my favorite #GirlBosses.  Jim Rohn once said that you are an average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.  I could not agree more!  Choose your company wisely, and avoid negative/toxic people like the plague.  Surround yourself with positive people, winners, and people who are not threatened by or jealous of your achievements.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
